About Bill
Bill Cook

I graduated from Creighton University with a B.A. in English literature with a co-major in theater and a minor in fine arts; I then earned a master's degree in English and American lit from the Ohio State University.

After leaving school, I worked as an illustrator, proofreader and copy editor in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and New York, New York.

I entered the online world in 1997 when I joined SmartMoney.com, where I worked first as a copy editor and later as a senior producer. In 2001, I moved back to my hometown — Omaha, Nebraska — and began a career as a full-time freelance illustrator, designer and content developer.

If you need design, production or editorial help with your interactive or print project, drop me a line. I'll help you get to where you want to go.

Some of my favorite things: Groundhog Day, the New York Giants, books by Agatha Christie and G.K. Chesterton, chicken vindaloo, Lost, any ocean, The Third Man, Nino Rota, Coke Zero, the Cincinnati Reds.
